GM Monthly Update | August 2026

Dear OSL Owners & Residents:

Welcome to the final month of summer vibes here at San Francisco’s premier waterfront.

We were thrilled by the start of July as owners & residents gathered on Independence Day to mark the
250th anniversary of our nation together. To those who were able to enjoy the “Boozy Ice Cream & Pie
Day” that was co-hosted with Monkeybrains, one of the building’s available internet service providers,
your attendance and enjoyment was truly one of the highlights. The same for our participants who were
able to take part in the Mat Pilates classes that were offered during the month. As we culminated the
thrilling series of competitive matches during the FIFA World Cup, it was a pleasure to support those who
were able to come together at the club room to enjoy the final match between Spain and Argentina on
July 19th. To see the gathering of Owners & Residents who came together to watch the event – and even
show their dancing moves during the half time performance as BTS, Shakira, Madonna, and others
delivered a spectacular show – brought warmth to my heart to see such moments come together
(amongst neighbors) through the relationships formed through the years.

Appreciation is expressed to you for the graciousness as we attended to various maintenance needs in
the previous month. We were able to complete the repairs to the BBQ that were of need, as well as the
installation of parts at the steam unit to have it fully optimized for your living enjoyment. The same with
the water pressure imbalance that occurred for a section of floors in the building. I appreciate the service
of the engineering team for extending themselves day and night to achieve a temporary measure while
parts finally arrived for the permanent fix. Our aim is always to ensure we are delivering our best in
service – and appreciate your understanding to the timing some of these efforts necessitated to reach
this outcome.

We cannot be more thankful for your warm welcome of Ms. Annette Alvarado as our new director of
operations. The greetings you provided for her as she began onboarding in the role are truly appreciated.
We look forward to seeing her remarkable contributions reign as her settlement continues in the
leadership role. For those who were able, we thank you for joining us by extending a proper farewell to
Ms. Madi Landaverde as she closed her chapter of service as your lobby ambassador. It was a
bittersweet moment, however, one that I am still thankful to know we were able to prepare her for the
next pursuit in her career journey.

As we usher in our final, full summer month, my team and I look forward to welcoming home those who
have been away. We will be intentionally lighter this month to our normal social & lifestyle offerings
programming, however, will continue hosting our wellness series. The scheduled date for our next one is
August 8th at 10:00 a.m. Per usual form, all RSVPs can be remitted to Brenda so she may anticipate your
attendance.

Within the month of August, we ask that you please anticipate a myriad of service arrangements to
maintain the upkeep and life safety of the building. Kindly see below rundown:

August 10 to 12 – Area Rug & Upholstery Cleaning – Area Closures Required. Cole Carpet will be
facilitating carpet cleaning on the Lobby and Amenity floor levels. For the upholstery cleaning at the
clubroom and outdoor terrace, there will be space closure needed for the furnishings to properly dry for
use thereafter. Please anticipate communication on this work.

August 10 to 21 – Wood Flooring Maintenance – Area Closures Required. We are finalizing the scope of
work and service movement. Once known, we will send out communication (along with
carpet/upholstery cleaning) so you may be aware of interruption for both services.

August 18 – Annual Fire Life Safety & Sprinkler Inspection – Private Home Access Required. To facilitate
these annual inspections in a manner that minimizes interruption to your living, we have scheduled the
building’s life safety and sprinkler service providers to perform a conjoined visit to your home this date.
For those unfamiliar, this required inspection consists of physical inspection of all life safety equipment
throughout the home. We will be listening to audible horns and visually reviewing the strobes as well.
The inspectors will also be ensuring there is not any obstruction to sprinklers, including closet areas. We
ask that you please assist to ensure your home is clear of any obstruction and is ready to be given a
compliant rating. Additionally, for those with pets in residence, please take note of audible noise for a
prolonged period that may be a nuisance for your four-legged beings. Lastly, as this is a systematic
process, we are unable to accommodate special requests for preferred times to visit, etc. We will seek to
provide you with our best estimate when we intend to be at your floor; however, ultimately follow the
movement of the inspectors. For more information on this required testing, please visit the site here for
San Francisco Fire Code (SFFC) sections 907.8 and 901.6.

For our Owners, please be aware of upcoming Association meetings to be held on August 11th starting at
10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Per our normal standard, you may anticipate notice of each so you are
informed. For the open session, you are certainly invited to virtually attend so you can be a part of this
setting where matters of the Association are discussed for your interests as members. Regarding the
correspondence that has been sent out regarding our annual survey, you are asked to participate no later
than August 7th at 5:00 p.m. Your feedback is a gift! Please refer to any of the emails for access to the
link.

We look forward to recognizing team members who will be celebrating momentous occasions this
month. For OSL service anniversaries: August 2nd Phoung Tran (Valet) – 5 Years, Danny Hernandez
(Housekeeping) – 2 Years, and Kaid Boehm (Valet) – 1 Year. As you may see these team members
in/around their special moments, please join us in recognizing their notable moment this month ahead.

It is also with distinction that we announce the arrival of Ms. Montserrat Beccerril as our newest lobby
ambassador on the OSL team. She is under the onboarding guidance of Annette, and we look forward to
her assimilating and positioning herself in service. In customary form, please also look forward to
receiving more insights into the new team member once the communication is finalized.

Lastly, this month is a notable milestone for One Steuart Lane. We are entering our 5th year as the city’s most prized residential community along the San Francisco waterfront. For several of you, this has been home since day 1 of its existence, and we cannot be more privileged to have been a part of this chapter with you since that time. For those who have arrived in the community at periods following the opening, you (too) have also contributed to our growth and successes as we build a community that is unlike any
other in the city. As we go into the fall, we are planning a spectacular setting for us to gather and raise a glass (or two) — celebrate this momentous milestone that is worthy of a celebration. Stay tuned.

With appreciation for the continued privilege to lead in service to you here at San Francisco’s waterfront.
Wishing you a very safe and memorable new month ahead.

 Warmest regards,

James Gordon, CMCA, AMS
General Manager
